A quick word on the notes, because the name plays with you: this is a tropical punch rather than a berry-compote scent. It opens on ripe mango, nectarine and blood orange, juicy and almost drinkable, the sort of splash that arrives with the glass already sweating. Raspberry and sweet star apple move into the middle, cooled by water lily and lotus so the fruit stays bright and watery rather than jammy. How to wear

Spray the Eau de Parfum two or three times onto moisturised wrists, throat and the inside of the elbows from about 15cm, and let it settle without rubbing so the mango and blood orange keep their sparkle. Add a single pass of the oil over the same spots for a warmer, creamier finish - a little goes a long way. Slip the roll-on into a beach bag or pocket and refresh whenever the sun has burnt the top notes off.
