Afrah Sundream opens on lemon at full brightness, then softens it almost immediately with sugar and a spoonful of vanilla, so the citrus sparkles instead of stinging. It is the difference between biting a lemon and eating a lemon tart.

The middle keeps the light in. Lemon blossom carries the citrus forward as a flower rather than a fruit, freesia adds a clean, dewy prettiness, and a small handful of raspberry brings back just enough tartness to stop the sugar taking over.

The finish is where it turns comforting. Praline gives a nutty, caramelised warmth, benzoin lends a resinous depth, and silky musk powders the whole thing down into a soft, drowsy glow on the skin.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the lemon stays sparkling. A light mist on a scarf keeps the praline and musk close through the evening.
