Azurite Soil opens crisp and almost medicinal. Cool eucalyptus and bergamot come first, and a pinch of saffron adds a leathery, faintly metallic warmth underneath the freshness.

The middle goes herbal and dusty. Clary sage and dried mate leaf lean on smoky guaiac wood, so it reads like a dry hillside rather than a garden - aromatic, a little bitter and entirely unsweetened.

Dry woods and clean musk finish it off. There is a resinous warmth to the drydown but no sugar anywhere in it, and a low mineral quality holds on right to the end.

Autumn and winter are its seasons, worn by day or in the evening. Unisex, and a sensible pick if you want something aromatic and woody that stays serious from the first spray to the last trace.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the eucalyptus and saffron stay clean. One spray on a jumper or jacket keeps the guaiac wood and musk in the air around you.
