The first minute of Córdoba Rouge is all juice. Mandarin and grapefruit come out together, clean and a bit zingy, with bergamot slicing through the middle of them so nothing turns syrupy straight away.

Then the fruit deepens. Raspberry and blackcurrant pull it somewhere tarter and redder, while orange blossom runs a soft floral thread underneath to stop the berries becoming a jam. It is the prettiest stage and it lasts a good while.

What is left at the end is the surprise: whipped cream and marshmallow, softened with musk and ambrette. The tartness gives way to something pillowy and gently sweet that sits low on the skin, more comforting than sugary.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the citrus stays lively. A little on the ends of your hair keeps the marshmallow and musk drifting after you.
