Cotton Malaki opens generously. Mango and peach arrive ripe and full, with blackcurrant and mandarin cutting sharp little lines through the pulp so the fruit reads fresh rather than heavy.

The heart is a proper bouquet and it is the widest part of the scent. Freesia and orange blossom lead, heliotrope and violet lay a powdery haze over them, and tuberose comes in underneath with its creamy weight. Fruit and flowers overlap here for some time.

Then it turns sweet. Caramel and tonka bean melt down into vanilla, and soft woody cashmeran gives the sugar something to rest on so the finish is warm and rounded instead of sticky.

It is a cold-weather scent and it likes an occasion. Autumn and winter evenings show it off most, though it wears quite happily in daylight. Written for her.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the mango and peach keep their lift. A spray into the air to walk through gives a softer echo of the flowers.
