Cotton Rouge starts crisp. Rose petals come through dewy and cool, and blackcurrant gives them a tart, slightly green lift that keeps the flower from reading old-fashioned in the first minute.

The heart doubles down on flowers. More rose, this time fuller and a little jammy, with peony opening out around it to add width and a clean pink sweetness. There is nothing shy about this stage.

The end is where it earns its keep. Patchouli drags the petals down into damp earth, cashmeran adds a soft woody blur, and vanilla and musk smooth the join, so the last of it is powdery, grounded and clean rather than floral and sweet.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the rose and blackcurrant stay crisp. A spray at the nape of the neck lets the patchouli base follow you.
