Fleur Eternelle Blossom opens juicy and tropical. Mango arrives soft and golden, blackberry adds a darker and jammier weight behind it, and a rattle of black pepper stops the fruit going sticky.

Powdery wild orris, black lotus and jasmine take over through the middle. They round the fruit off and give it a proper floral shape - still sweet, but wearing something over the top of it now.

The base is warm and lightly candied: vanilla and a soft pink sugar note resting on earthy patchouli, which drags the sweetness back down to ground level where it belongs.

It comes into its own in autumn and winter, by day or in the evening, and is easily shared between men and women. It is generous without being heavy-handed, and a little of that fruit stays with you right to the end.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the mango and blackberry keep their brightness. One spray on the hair or a scarf carries the jasmine and vanilla furthest.
