Golden Dreams begins warm rather than fresh. Saffron and cardamom arrive first, resinous and gently peppery, the sort of opening that smells expensive before you've worked out why.

The heart is the showpiece: thick, golden honey spilling over jasmine, sweet and almost syrupy, with the flower stopping it from turning cloying. As the honey settles, patchouli and soft leather come through from underneath - earthy, skin-like and a little animalic, which is what gives this its grown-up edge.

It's opulent, warm and unashamedly rich, with a trail that lingers on scarves and coat collars. Built for autumn and winter, and lovely on cooler spring evenings too.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the honey and saffron stay clear. A mist on a scarf or coat collar holds the warm, spiced trail nicely in cold weather.
