Marbre Serein opens warm and creamy, with bright mandarin orange lifting it and a green snap of coriander keeping it from going soft too early. The liqueur accords underneath give those first minutes real body.

Dusty cocoa follows. It is wrapped in sandalwood and smooth cashmere woods, which pull it away from dessert and towards something drier and more grown-up - cocoa powder rather than chocolate.

The base is rich and balsamic. Tonka bean, benzoin and styrax build a resinous warmth, patchouli adds earth beneath them, and vanilla with cedarwood smooths the last of the cocoa into the skin.

A cold-weather scent for autumn and winter, worn in the evening or across a slow day indoors. Unisex, and comforting without ever turning sugary.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the mandarin and coriander stay clear at the start. A light spray on a jumper keeps the cocoa and tonka warm around you.
