Melt Café Bliss opens on black coffee, properly dark roasted, with the nutty almond sweetness of amaretto liqueur poured straight over the top. The bitterness is there for a moment and then it is rounded off, the way a strong espresso changes the instant the sugar goes in.

The heart is where the dessert arrives. Cold vanilla ice cream softens the roast into something creamy, and a spiced speculoos biscuit note brings a toasted, cinnamon-dusted crumb alongside it. It reads warm and comforting rather than sharp, and the coffee never disappears underneath.

Underneath that the base settles low and rich. Vanilla pods give a dark, almost resinous sweetness, brown sugar adds a treacly depth, and grey amber holds everything together with a soft, slightly salty warmth that keeps the sugar from running away with it.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the coffee and amaretto stay clear at the top. One spray on a scarf or coat collar keeps the vanilla and brown sugar close all day.
