Jammy raspberry laid over oud smoke and tarred leather.

The opening is tart and jammy, raspberry with a metallic saffron edge over the top of it. Rose comes next and thickens quickly into oud and dry incense smoke, which is the main body of the scent and the part people notice. Underneath, it turns to soft amber and a tarry birch-leather note, with benzoin taking the hard edge off the sweetness.

Unisex, and clearly an evening scent. Autumn and winter are where it makes sense, for parties, weddings, dinners and anything you dress up for. As an extrait the concentration is high, so projection is strong from a small amount and it stays readable on fabric.

How to wear

One or two sprays is enough: the oud, incense and birch leather build on skin and more is rarely better. Put it on the neck and the back of the hands rather than the hair, onto moisturised skin. A single spray on a jacket lapel holds the rose and smoke longer than skin does.
