Prime Target Lock opens warmer than you might expect from something this dark. Brazilian rosewood gives it a smooth, almost varnished quality, and geranium with rose lifts it on a green, faintly metallic sharpness. Nothing is rough at this stage.

The heart is where it turns. Oud, guaiac and birch bring resin, tar and dry smoke, while lavender, freesia, angelica and jasmine hover above them and stop the whole thing sinking. Dense, but never suffocating.

Underneath, leather and labdanum do the heavy work. Amber and sandalwood soften the leather, patchouli adds earth, and frankincense with cypriol draws a thin line of incense smoke through the trail.

Made for autumn and winter, for evenings, and for occasions where you would rather be noticed slowly than all at once. Shared easily between men and women.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the rosewood and geranium stay clear. A light mist on a coat collar keeps the oud, leather and incense in the trail.
