Rose Astrale opens warm and a little unexpected: cinnamon with a thread of cumin behind it, which gives the first minutes a spiced, skin-close hum instead of a polite floral hello. Then tuberose absolute unfurls, big and creamy and properly narcotic, with osmanthus adding an apricot-soft glow and ambroxan stretching the flowers out so they shine rather than sit heavy. Underneath, a supple leather accord with white musk and vanilla gives the finish a faintly smoky, velvety polish.

It is grown-up, sensual and quietly dramatic - a scent for evenings, date nights and daytime when you want something with presence. Best in autumn, winter and spring, and made to be shared by men and women.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the tuberose can open properly. This is an extrait, so it is concentrated - one or two sprays is plenty to start with.
