Royal Clavis Lux pours out creamy and resinous, vanilla-soaked wood, sandalwood and sticky Peruvian balsam giving it real weight without ever turning sickly. Amber, labdanum and a whisper of violet blossom make the middle velvety, the sort of richness that stays close to the skin rather than filling a room. Then comes the signature: liquorice and dark rum bring a boozy, faintly smoky bite, and a last flash of mandarin cuts through the sweetness right at the end.

How to wear

Spray 2-3 times on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) from about 15cm away. Apply to moisturised skin and don't rub, so the balsam and rum keep their depth. Because it is rich, one spray fewer is often plenty on a warmer evening.
